can someone guide me the best way to travel from Baltimore to White Plains.prefer train?
I need to go from baltimore to white plains. is there a train or it makes more sense to drive down i dont think there is a amtrak station in white plains. only closed one i found was NRO-New Rochelle, NY. which is abt 30 mins drive to white plains. would prefer train. any better suggestions. thanks for all the help. Greyhound and Peter Pan offer several buses daily from their main depot downtown and the Baltimore Travel Plaza in Dundalk to the Port Authority in NYC. Expect to pay about $40-50 each way for a ticket. the direction is up not down and yes you can take amtrack to NYC and then take Metro North train to White Plains

Take Amtrak to NYC and get off at Pennsylvania Station. Take the subway shuttle from that train station to Grand Central Station, which is a different train station. Take the Metro North to White Plains.
